Our Story
At our beginning in the late 1920’s, Inspired Studios began as a plastic manufacturer of buttons for the garment industry and game pieces for the board game business under the name Synthetic Plastics Company (“SPC”). Throughout our history, we have seen advances to dice, poker chips, and eventually monograph records. From there, the Peter Ran Records division was founded and became the largest manufacturer of records in the U.S. during the 1940s. Fast forward to 2004, seventy-five years after Synthetic Plastics first opened their doors, and the company has become known as Inspired Studios Today, we’re happy to bring our audience current innovations specifically in the musical field. Inspired has now expanded by developing productions in special interest, Latin music, music publishing and digital distribution of audio recording, and merchandising. These include Compose (various artists and genres), Peter Pan (children’s), Compose (various), Mojito/Compose Tropico (Latin), Current (new age, lifestyle, and world beat), Mountain Dew/Compose Country (country), JA Classics (Jamaican Authentic), Guest Star (artists) and Power (sound effects, club and dance).
